Become the specialist you've always wanted to be
As a System Administrator you are the first point of contact for our customers and you handle questions about their cloud environment. You will also be part of the six-person team that provides second-line support to our customers. You set your priorities: which questions or reports do you handle yourself and which do you pass on to the rest of the team?
You will be trained as a specialist who builds, implements, manages and monitors efficient and optimal IT solutions. You also support internal automation projects using Powershell Scripting or other automation tools, such as Ansible. You also work for a centralized management platform, for which we want to use new technologies such as Azure Arc and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
You start with a six-month on-the-job training. It prepares you to join one of our specialized teams working on the most advanced hybrid cloud solutions for our customers. So you start as a generalist, but grow into a specialist.
Decent hard and soft skills?
You have a bachelor's degree in an IT field and preferably two to three years of experience in the IT sector. You have a broad interest in IT and you want to take steps forward.
You have experience with operating systems such as Windows and Linux. Open-source operating systems and virtualization with VMware are also not unknown territory for you. You also have knowledge of important aspects of networking (such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP) and system administration. You score extra bonus points through experience with backup (such as Veeam), monitoring (such as SCOM), patching (such as SCCM) and anti-virus (such as CEP, Trend-Micro or Defender for Server).
Last but not least: for the System Administrator job, the soft skills are as important as the hard skills. Can you speak to customers in an empathetic way? Still nodding yes? Then apply immediately!
